Lawn Care Technician

Weed Man, the largest franchised lawn care company in North America and the #1 franchise in lawn care, is looking for a Lawn Care Technician to join our growing team. As a lawn care professional, you will be responsible for servicing customers’ lawns, and providing accurate lawn analyses in your route, while offering amazing customer service always.

Responsibilities 

• Applications of products such as fertilizer and weed control that are safe for use and government approved
• Service and applications are provided April to October
• Provide lawn analysis quotes to potential customers within your territory.
• Analyze and provide recommendations to improve the quality of a customer’s lawn.
• Maintain expected production schedules
• Completion of reporting and paperwork with accuracy.
• Provide exceptional customer service to existing and potential customers.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the assigned truck and equipment.
• Maintain a professional personal appearance.

Skills and Qualifications 

• Valid driver’s license in good standing
• Willing to become certified to apply pesticides
• Ability to carry up to 50 pounds, 8-10 hours per day
• Able and willing to work in various weather conditions for long periods of time
• Professional appearance
• Ability to work in a results-oriented environment
• Previous sales or industry experience is an asset but is not required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills 
• Advanced problem-solving skills
• Proven time management

Education 

• High school

Experience 

• No experience necessary but a drive to want to learn and grow
